Experience a morning of free hands-on art-making activities featuring Pilgrim Heidi Kambitsch of Openheartart. All are welcome!
Join Kambitsch and Wex educators for this family- and sensory-friendly informal event for all ages from 9 AM to noon. Explore all the personas you can imagine while creating masks, costumes, props, and puppets to take home with you using free art supplies and recycled and natural materials. In addition, you can contribute to building a huge papier-mâché puppet that will be used in an upcoming Openheartart production. Enjoy free snacks and time in the galleries with our current exhibitions featuring artwork by Nancy Holt and Maria Hupfield along with purchased baked goods and coffee at Heirloom Café and time to shop in the Wexner Center Store.

Pilgrim Heidi Kambitsch creates Open Heart Creatures—expressive body puppets, installations, paintings, and performances—as tools for positive change. She uses her puppets to spark important conversations through performance art and storytelling for play therapists, school counselors, teachers, parents, children, and the community.
